These first steps teach us how we work best together and we can tailor the process to ensure success in the project and our relationship.



The first step on the journey is discovery. We need to understand your organization and how it works, we’ll ask a lot of questions and do a lot of listening. It’s important to discover what your current brand is, your competition, what makes you unique, your business goals, and who your audience is. Getting a good picture of where you are now, helps us work with you to figure out where you’d like to be, and how to get there.


Visual identity

These are the building blocks of design that we’ll use to create your brand. Putting your identity together includes your logotype, mark, typography, and colour palettes.


Strategic planning

We’ll find out about your industry, and your positioning in order to see what we can do to impact your business, and help shape the project to achieve the direction of your brand or product. We won’t ask you to have this all figured out before hand, we’ll work together to assess opportunities, goals, and budgets, and we’ll create a plan that will help your business grow. This will be our game plan for going forward



Branding isn’t a nice logo, or a great set of stationary. Branding is everything people are saying and thinking about you when you’re not in the room. It’s the tone your organization communicates in. It’s the type of interactions people have with you. Branding is the way people feel about your organization. We take a strategic approach that will narrow down and defining your brand’s rational and definition. This ensures that the following design process is specific to your needs and those of your customers and users. We’ll also be able to make recommendations on specific branding assets for the production phase.


Production planning

We’ve been through a lot together! We’ve made plans, looked at budgets, resources, and goals. Now it’s time to create a tailor-made strategic plan to produce the assets. We’ll closely consider our discovery analysis, the research we conducted,  and well ensure our plan meets all of your business objectives.

Most importantly we’ll take a look at what is realistic, and achievable.
